Rising Park

Rising Park is a natural hill in Lancaster, Ohio, turned into an outdoor recreation facility. It features two trails for bicycling, hiking, or walking. The trails are 1/3 mile long and located next to the parking lot on the north side of the Park.

There are no restrooms at this Park, so please plan accordingly before visiting. No fees are required to visit Rising Park. However, donations are accepted in the honor box near the trailhead. There is also a picnic table in front of the trailhead if you want to bring your lunch. Water fountains can be found just inside each main building entrance next door.

The facilities at Rising Park include the main building with changing rooms and showers and a small meeting room that can be rented out. There is also a playground and sand volleyball court on location and parking for about 150 vehicles. The Park is open five days a week from sunrise to sunset or 8 pm, whichever comes first. You can start your visit at the main building before going outside to walk the trails if you would like.

Rising Parks is a great place to spend an afternoon walking or biking the trails. The Park offers beautiful views of Lancaster, and it's a great place to get outside and enjoy nature. I would recommend visiting this park you are in the area!
